Local companies are excited to see a new and unique magazine being published in Raleigh, NC. I believe that anything is possible, just put your mind to it, believe in yourself and your product, then do it and follow through! These ambitions and desires have guided me to creatively publish advertisements for local businesses. The main objective is to provide local businesses a tool to increase revenue through promotional advertising and written reviews using published print and internet based platforms. I have traveled all over the world. Many suggest doing it when you’re young. I say do it throughout your whole life! This is my backbone. Others will call it the foundation of my creative drive.

It all started when I arrived back from Australia. The exchange program at East Carolina University (ECU), granted me the opportunity to attend Queensland University of Technology (QUT), in Brisbane, Australia. However, a string was attached. I needed to write an essay explaining why I would like to travel abroad. I was the only one out of ten people chosen. Needless to say, they made the right choice!

I began drawing a comic strip, titled: Get to the Point… This ran for a few years in The East Carolinian (College Newspaper). It wasn’t so much a walk in the park, but a jog. Before I realized I graduated with a B.A. degree in Communications. Now what…Work?

The gypsy blood still flows through my veins. Using my willingness to travel I flew to Uijeongbu, South Korea to teach English. Learning the culture, speaking their language and challenging others to learn English as their secondary language became one of the most rewarding moments in my life. I wish those in the Triangle to enjoy the reviews and take advantage of the exclusive deals and specials throughout this magazine. Be adventurous, travel out and do something new and find the happy person inside you. There are so many stories to tell. Therefore, I will keep you posted in up coming issues.
